Due to the inclement weather, Golden City R-III School District will not be in session tomorrow Friday, January 10th. This school day will be made up on Monday, January 20th.

Non-Emergency Update: Today at 1:45PM, Golden City Administration conducted a Lockdown drill for practicing our response in the event of an emergency situation. Again, this was a drill only, there is no emergency.

Golden City R-III Schools will be closing early tomorrow, Friday, December 20th with a release time of 12:30 p.m. School will be out of session from December 23-January 3. Students will be out on Monday, January 6 for a staff Professional Development Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, January 7th!

Join us in celebrating #TEACHERPROUD Tuesday! Mr. Moore is our 5th Grade Teacher. Mr. Moore strives to build character in each of his students. He has a passion for building relationships with his students and their families as well as inspires students to do the best they can.
It's finals week for MS/HS! VoTech students need to plan on attending school at GC this Friday. Also, Friday will be an early release day at 12:30pm. It's almost Christmas break!
