This morning, the South Route bus was involved in a incident when the mirror of a larger truck made contact with the bus mirror. As a result, the bus mirror was damaged and the driver-side sliding window glass was broken.
We are thankful to report that there were no injuries. All students who were on the bus at the time of the incident were contacted through their parents/guardians, and all students arrived safely at school. Additionally, the rest of the South Route riders were picked up by another bus and arrived shortly after 8:15am.
Thank you for your patience and understanding this morning. As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
If you do not want your student screened, please call the school and ask for Nurse Nims at 417-537-8311.
