Golden City R-III School is accepting applications for a full-time paraprofessional/cafeteria worker or part-time cafeteria worker for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will consist of working either 3 hours per day as a cafeteria worker and 5 hours per day as a paraprofessional or for just 3 hours per day as a cafeteria worker. Para/Server-Pay is $15 an hour plus benefits. The Golden City R-III School District is looking for a bus driver who can drive a daily morning and afternoon route and activity trips beginning January 2026. The applicant should have a CDL with the proper passenger endorsement necessary to operate a school bus. Route Driver-Pay is $24 an hour plus benefits. Golden City R-III Schools conducted a fire drill in collaboration with the Golden City Fire Department. We want to reassure you that this drill was entirely precautionary and served as a valuable opportunity for our students and staff to practice safety procedures in the event of an emergency.

November 6, 2025 Golden City FBLA members attended Business Gateway Competition at MSSU. After the first session they were able to enjoy lunch at Raising Canes. While waiting for the awards ceremony to start Lakin Baker was chosen to take part in a general knowledge trivia competition. Caleb Hughes took Second Place in Accounting 1 Division 3.
