The Golden City R-III School District is in the process of updating our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). As part of our (CSIP), we are collecting feedback from PARENTS/GUARDIANS of Golden City Students. Below you will find a link to fill out the parent/guardian climate and culture survey.
Students in 3rd-12th grades will participate in a similar survey at school as well. These surveys are required every two years by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a part of the Missouri School Improvement cycle 6 (MSIP 6). Please contact Mr. Kimzey if you have any questions.

Retake Picture Day is coming up on:

For students who missed picture day or would like their photo retaken!
Information from Inter-State Studio:
If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 0115QNF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account!
Congratulations to 2024 Golden City Graduate, Gabe Fizette, on receiving his American FFA Degree! He will attend the National FFA Convention this month to receive this prestigious degree awarded to less than 1% of FFA members!
These members worked extremely hard starting back in June to qualify for this event! The final step to qualify was our Annual FFA Fruit/Meat sales and our FFA had a record breaking year, doubling last years amount!
We want to extend a HUGE thank you to our supportive community! These opportunities would not be possible without you!

The JHVB game from Tuesday, 9.23.25 is rescheduled for this Friday @ HOME against Avilla @ 5:30pm.
HSVB also has a game Friday AWAY vs. Miami (Amoret, MO) @ 5:30pm. Bus will leave at 3:15pm.
Tonight's JH Volleyball game (Tuesday, September 23rd) @ home against Avilla has been cancelled.
