Due to the condition of some of the roads in our District and potential re-freezing of roads overnight school will not be in session on Thursday, February 13th, 2025. Tomorrow will be AMI Day #1.
Due to the forecast of wintry weather during the morning commute hours tomorrow, Golden City R-III School District will not be in session. This snow day will be made up on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.

Each month Golden City Elementary focuses on teaching students how to be good citizens. January's citizenship word of the month was RESPONSIBILITY! Kids aimed to meet the responsibility goal through their behavior and if they met the responsibility challenge they received a prize! Congratulations to all these RESPONSIBLE elementary students! Paraprofessional/Cafeteria Server
Golden City R-III School is accepting applications for a paraprofessional/cafeteria server for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position will consist of working 3 hours per day as a cafeteria server and 5 hours per day as a paraprofessional.
