Our first grade class is learning how to churn butter just like our ancestors did long ago! The students took turns churching until it turned into fresh butter. After all their hard work, they got to enjoy the delicious results by making grilled cheese sandwiches with the butter they made themselves! It was a fun and tasty way to connect with history!
