Good evening Eagle families! We want to inform you that our yearly diagnostic testing for students will commence on Wednesday, August 23rd. We hope to have all assessments concluded by Friday, September 1st. These assessments are a vital part of our commitment to ensuring the academic growth and development of your children. Here are some important details regarding the testing: Testing Dates: The testing will begin on Wednesday, August 23rd, and continue over the course of the next week and a half. Test Content: The assessments will cover a range of objectives in math and reading relevant to your child's grade level. They are designed to help us understand your child's strengths and areas where additional support may be needed. Results: After the testing is completed, it may take a few weeks to process and analyze the results. Rest assured, we will send the results to your home as soon as they are available. Changes in Data Usage: This year, we want to inform you about changes in how we use the data collected from these assessments. Recent legislative changes in Missouri, particularly with respect to Reading Success Plans, require us to slightly adjust our data usage. These changes aim to better support and ensure the reading success of our students. We will be using the assessment data to tailor individualized Reading Success Plans for students who may require additional support in reading. We appreciate your continued support in your child's education journey. These diagnostic tests are an important tool to help us provide the best possible education tailored to your child's needs, especially in light of these legislative changes. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
