We are excited to share with the families in our community about the Parents as Teachers program. Parents as Teachers is a free program for students in the Golden City school district ages prenatal to kindergarten entry. They offer personal visits (at your home or at the school), developmental screenings, and group connections. For more information or to register, please visit their Facebook page at Lockwood & Golden City Parents as Teachers. Amy Schnelle and Sarah Baugh are the coordinators for our district and they would love to have your family be a part of this program.

Just a few reminders -
Tonight is the season opener for basketball. Girls will host Osceola at 6:00 with boys hosting Ballard to follow. Students - The theme for tonight is Redneck BBQ! (please adhere to the dress code) The student (all PK-12 students eligible) with the best themed outfit will receive pizza on Monday!
There will also be a Senior Cookout Fundraiser tonight. Pork chop sandwiches, one side, cookie, and water for a $10 donation to the senior class. Meals provided by Darrell Phipps Team! The only hot food available at the concession stand tonight will be hot dogs and popcorn.
