After a conversation with the National Weather Service, Golden City Schools will not send buses home until the main line of storms pass around 4:15pm and it's deemed safe. The National Weather Service expressed concerns of pop up storms out ahead of the storm. If you would like to pick your child up early from school today you may do so by checking in at the elementary or high school offices. The safety of our students is our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding and have a great evening.

🌟 Golden City FFA attends the National FFA Convention! 🌟
Last week, our Golden City FFA members had an incredible experience attending the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN!
We had the opportunity to tour amazing agricultural facilities, where we learned about innovative farming practices and the future of agriculture. Our members also participated in engaging leadership sessions that inspired us to grow as future leaders in the agricultural community.
The career and college fair was a fantastic chance to explore various pathways and opportunities in agriculture, helping us make informed decisions for our futures!
To top it all off, we enjoyed a thrilling professional rodeo!
Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable experience possible! We’re excited to bring back what we learned and share it with our community! 💙💛 #FFA #GoldenCityFFA #NationalFFAConvention #Agriculture #Leadership #FutureFarmers
