Look at what's going on here at school today!
The 4-H SNAC initiative was developed from the Missouri Extension Family Nutrition Education program, and we have partnered with them to bring awareness to nutrition and healthy living! The Missouri Extension program created new 4-H clubs that focus on advocating and teaching nutritional awareness, along with leadership and citizenship skills. The SNAC supervisor, Sarah Morefield, says "This program is about youth taking the lead for healthy living as they learn to promote healthy eating, better school lunches, exercise and wellness!"
The kids had a great time learning how to Eat Smart with some healthy recipe kits!
