Your Lady Eagles will continue their run to the state tournament at Bolivar HS on Tuesday 2/28 6:00 pm vs Mack’s Creek. Admission will be $8 and must be purchased online via the link below.
We are planning to take a pep bus for students in grades 9-12, as long as enough students sign up. The bus will leave at approximately 4:30. There will be a sign-up sheet in the HS office on Monday. Students must stop by and sign up for the pep bus. Also, since tickets are required to be purchased online, students must bring the printed receipt of their ticket to ride the bus.

FFA Week festivities are in full swing at Golden City High School this week! We started off with our FFA Fun Night, Sunday in the Gym. Tuesday members spent the afternoon giving back to their community by planting bulbs in the park as part of the restoration and revitalization efforts. Yesterday, members brought in desserts and sweets for all of the staff as a token of appreciation for all they do for the FFA Chapter! We also have Area 9 FFA Officers visiting and putting on leadership workshops for our members! The rest of the week is looking exciting as well! We are having a Community/Supporters breakfast Friday morning from 7-8:30 and we invite you all to come join us for this free breakfast as a token of our appreciation for the support from our great community!

Just wanted to pass along a few notes about districts for next week beginning 2/20.
1. We will be hosting boy's districts here at Golden City. The bracket with game times is attached. Per MSHSAA guidelines, no passes are accepted for spectators and gate is $6.
2. Girl's districts will be played at Liberal. The bracket with game times is attached.
3. As of right now, games will be streamed online. We will post the link each day. Per MSHSAA, there will be a cost to stream the game as it is run through their program. This will be the case from districts on.
Let's fill the stands each night and support our Eagles and Lady Eagles!!!
Tomorrow night (2/16) will be the final regular season basketball game for the boys and the girls at Verona. THIS WILL BE A 5:30 START. With their win vs College Heights, the girls claimed at minimum, a share of the Ozark 7 Conference Championship. A win Thursday would give them the outright championship. Come out and support the Eagles and Lady Eagles in their last regular season game!

Huge night tonight. Starting at 6 the girls look to take a stranglehold on the Ozark 7 conference championship in their toughest conference match up of the season. We will honor our basketball Seniors immediately following the girls game. The boys will finish up the night needing a victory to stay alive in the Ozark 7 conference race. No better way to spend your Valentines Day.
