
Red Ribbon Week begins tomorrow! Life is a Movie...Film Drug Free!


The Golden City R-III School is looking for a substitute bus driver who can drive daily morning and afternoon routes as needed, and activity trips. The applicant should have a CDL with the proper passenger endorsement necessary to operate a school bus or be able to obtain one. The pay for this position will be $24/hour for route driving and $15/hour for activity trips, and the district will pay for the required bus driver training locally. Parent/Teacher conferences are next week on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30th! Elementary teachers will be scheduling 15 min conferences with their student's parents. MS/HS teachers will be contacting parents to schedule a 15 min conference with students. If you would like to request a conference, please contact the high school office. On Wednesday, October 30th from 5:15-7pm is a non-scheduled conference time with MS/HS where parents can "come and go" at their convenience. Yesterday, our lunch ladies, along with the help of our amazing teachers & staff, celebrated National Apple Day by participating in the Missouri Crunch Off.
The Missouri Crunch Off is an event to celebrate Farm to School Month by"crunching" into a Missouri grown food. Last year, the state of Missouri took 3rd place against 8 other states.
A big THANK YOU to Murphy Orchard for the delicious Jonagold Apples!! We really enjoyed "crunching" into those juicy apples!
