Caleb Russell

Position: Agriculture Teacher
College: Connors State and University of Arkansas
Degree: Associates in Animal Science and Bachelors in Agricultural Education

Mr. Caleb Russell has been a teacher for three years. He began teaching at Golden City as the high school agricultural instructor. Mr. Russell enjoys his job at Golden City because it has small town feel. He likes that Golden City reminds him of where he grew up and went to school. Mr. Russell also enjoys the aspect of knowing each of his students at Golden City.


Caleb attended two years at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma where he received his Associate's Degree in Animal Science. Mr. Russell then transferred to the University of Arkansas, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Education, with an emphasis in Animal Science. While at both Connors, and The University of Arkansas Mr. Russell was a member of the livestock judging teams.


Mr. Russell incorporates this quote in his classroom through his teachings, “Anything in life worth doing, is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards.” His favorite teaching memory is any day that he has had a positive impact on a student.


Mr. Russell’s and his beautiful wife Kelsey have been married since Dec 20, 2014. They live in rural Jasper where they have two dogs, eight chickens, and a small cow calf operation that they run with his parents on their family farm. They both love spending time with their families, rather here in Missouri or in Arkansas. Mr. Russell loves all things Razorback.
